Announce the new power in one sentence

Cursor announced Computer Use on Oct 23, 2026 with Cursor can now control your computer. Agents can drive desktop apps like the iOS Simulator to test the features they build, over a short video. The next post in the thread said agents can click and type across any app, not just the browser, that Cursor uses it on its own when a task needs it, and to update Cursor to try it. The post passed 6,300 likes and 388,000 views.

One plain sentence states the new power, one concrete example shows why it matters, and update Cursor to try it removes every step between reading and using. To copy it, write the capability as one plain sentence. Then name one concrete use like a simulator.

  1. Write the capability as one plain sentence
  2. Name one concrete use like a simulator
  3. Tell people the one step to try it
