Microsoft Clarity says AI agent sessions reach checkout more than humans

Microsoft Clarity studied more than 5.2 million website sessions involving AI agents from OpenAI, Google and Anthropic across 230,511 sites. Checkout showed up in 25.21% of agent sessions, against 14.65% of human sessions, and appointment bookings in 8.42%. Clarity says it cannot split what the agent did from what the person did, and it made a free Agent Activity Dashboard generally available.
Our take
Agents now fill in your forms and reach your checkout, and those events feed your ad bidding. Turn on the Clarity agent dashboard if you run Clarity, and check how much of your conversion data comes from agent sessions. Make booking and checkout pages easy for software to read, with clear prices, plain buttons and no hidden steps.
